External wall insulation
If your home was built before the 1920s, it’s likely to have solid walls. Homes with solid walls can lose up to twice as much heat as those with modern cavity walls. We’ll add two layers of insulation to the outside of your home, the first layer will keep your house nice and warm, and the second outer layer will protect your home from the weather and give it a fresh new look.
Underfloor insulation
Insulation under your floor stops heat from escaping and keeps heat where it should be, in your home. A layer of material is sprayed under the floorboards to help keep your home warmer and more comfortable. We use a Q-Bot called Betty to spray the insulation under your floorboards, keeping disruption to your home to a minimum.
Cavity wall insulation
The most effective way of preventing heat loss in your home is cavity wall insulation. It’s easy to install, and you could save on your future energy bills. During installation, a specialist installer will drill small holes in the outside walls of your home and use special equipment to insert material into the cavity. It’s a straightforward procedure that doesn’t usually take more than a few hours.
Loft insulation
Another key area in the house for heat loss is the loft or roof space. Insulating your loft or roof space is a simple and effective way to reduce your energy bills by preventing heat from escaping through your roof. It not only helps keep your home warmer in the winter, but it’ll also keep it cooler in the summer too.
Smart thermostat
With a smart thermostat, you can make your home as energy-efficient as possible by always being in control of its temperature. Whether you’re at home or not, you’ll always be in control of your heating and hot water, helping you to save on your energy bills.
